This is our first year doing live race updates. Post a comment, let us know what you want us to report, and how we can improve this for next year.
Note times are reported as time-of-day (PST), and are approximate based on ham radio reporting. Figure running time base on 5am start.
- Start 5:00 am – They’re off! It’s a great morning here at Willamette Pass. Clear skies and temperature around 42 degrees. What a perfect day for a running race. The highs are expected to be in the low 80s. No notable DNS’er (Did Not Start). 121 started of the 138 registered.
- Fuji Summit (12.4 miles)
Men – 7:02 Erik Skaggs. Jason Bryant and Zach Miller are together at 7:05. Brian Schmidt, Sean Andrish and Neil Olsen are together at 7:08
Women – Joelle Vaught arrives Fuji Summit at 7:14. Bev Anderson-Abbs at 7:15, and Meghan Arbogast at 7:24 - Mt Ray (20.5 miles)
Men – 5 runners are together at 7:50 (course record pace), Neil Olsen, Zach Miller, Jason Bryant, Sean Andrish, and Erik Skaggs
Women – Joelle Vaught – 8:10, Bev Anderson-Abbs – 8:15, Meghan Arbogast – 8:25 - The Twins (27.1 miles)
Men – Erik Skaggs 8:52, Zach Miller – 8:54, Jason Bryant, Sean Andrish and Neil Olsen are together at 9:00
